5025 Series Utility Tractors : Service

Save maintenance minutes when servicing the 5025 Series tractors.

The one-piece hood provides easy access to service points under the hood. There are no screens to remove and lose and no tools are needed.

Easy-access service points:

  • Front-mounted battery is under the hood and accessible on all platforms.
  • Air cleaner - remove three simple clips to change the air filter.
  • Hydraulic oil cooler on all Cab tractors and PowrReverser™ transmissions.
  • Combination hydraulic oil cooler/air conditioner condenser (all Cab models).
  • Hydraulic oil cooler/air conditioner condenser tilts forward to simplify radiator cleanout.
  • Drive belt now has a self-adjusting tensioner, eliminating a service interval and the need for a wrench.
  • Coolant recovery tank see-through design allows coolant level check without removing the radiator cap.
  • Ease of maintenance ensures that daily maintenance will be performed and guarantees that the customer's 5025 tractor is ready to work.

5225 and 5325 feature one-side daily servicing. Check both the engine oil and fuel sediment bowl on the right-hand side of the tractor. (5425 and 5525 Tractors have left-side engine oil dipstick and right side fuel sediment bowl.)

Other features include:

  • Automotive-type fuses.
  • Air restriction indicator light alerts the operator when air cleaner servicing is needed.
  • 300-hour engine oil and filter change interval saves the customer time and money.
  • Transmission fluid check is done by viewing the hydraulic sight glass located under the PTO shield.
  • Hydraulic filter is changed every 600 hours; increased intervals save the operator maintenance time and money.
