5025 Series Utility Tractors : Hitch & PTO

Three Point Hitch

The 5025 Tractor's Category 2/1 three-point hitch adapts to a wide variety of implements.

The optional ElectroHydraulic (EH) hitch will save customers time while providing consistency and repeatability, all at the control of the operator's fingertips.

Note: EH hitch is available on Isolated Open Operator Station (IOOS) and Cab platforms with 12F/12R PowrReverser™ transmissions and is standard with 24F/24R transmission.

Remote raise and lower switch will come standard on the left-hand fender with the ElectroHydraulic hitch option.

Three Point Hitch - Features:

  • Telescoping draft links are factory installed and allow for easier hookup.
  • Telescoping draft links feature interchangeable hitch balls to permit customers to quickly change from Category 1 to Category 2 implements.
  • Hitch adjustments can be made quickly and easily.
  • Telescoping sway bars can be easily adjusted to adapt to a wide variety of implements.

Power Take-Off (PTO)

The Standard Independent 540 rpm rear power take-off (PTO) performs well in normal or heavy applications.

  • PTO engages independently of the transmission traction clutch.
  • Tractor will not start with PTO lever engaged, adding to operator safety.
  • PTO light on instrument panel is illuminated whenever PTO is engaged. In addition, an alarm sounds if operator attempts to leave seat with PTO engaged.
  • PTO shaft is protected by a hinged shield.

Save fuel in PTO applications with the optional shiftable 540/540 Economy PTO.

The shiftable 540/540 economy power take-off saves fuel and reduces noise and vibration.

Power Take-Off (PTO) - Features:

  • The 540/540 Economy PTO allows customers to select the engine rpm that is needed for their PTO application.
  • The economy position provides 540 rpm to the PTO at 1700 engine rpm.
  • Operating at lower engine rpm decreases customers' fuel costs during tasks.
  • A lever control allows the operator to simply change between 540 and 540E when conditions merit the opportunity to save fuel without affecting performance.
