9030 Series Tractors : Hydraulics

Exclusive TouchSet hydraulic control
Hydraulics John Deere hydraulics offer industry-leading performance to meet your hydraulic needs.

All models feature a closed center pressure and flow compensated hydraulic system with standby pressure of 2900 psi with load-sensing hydraulic pressure system advantages:

  • Reduced load on engine and improved fuel efficiency
  • Enhanced system oil cooling
  • Reduced internal leakage
  • Less strain on hoses and seals

Optional high-flow hydraulics are available to meet the demands of implements requiring increased hydraulic flow.

The 44 gpm (48 gpm with PST) main hydraulic pump is driven by an external shaft on the front of the transmission.

Gravity flow oil from the hydraulic oil reservoir is used to charge the main hydraulic pump.

  • Eliminates cavitation, especially at low engine rpm
  • Provides low return pressure (important for trouble-free single-acting cylinder operation)

Separate hydraulic and transmission circuits eliminate cross-contamination of the hydraulic oil.

  • Each circuit has its own filter and oil cooler, providing longer service life.
  • Filter change interval is 750 hours for reduced maintenance costs.

Hydraulic Flows

Standard hydraulics
Pump output 48 gpm (182 litres per minute)
Flow at single SCV 30 gpm (114 litres per minute)

High Flow hydraulics-
Pump output 78 gpm (295 litres per minute)
Flow at single SCV 43 gpm (163 litres per minute)
