Like all John Deere ploughs, the 975/995 Ploughs are designed to fit today's new farming practices. They give you the amount of turnover you need to control soil, residue, and combat plant diseases.

The in-furrow 975 plough, available with 2, 3, 4, or 5 bottoms, is ideal for small to medium sized tractors. The on-land 995 plough, in 5, 6, 7, or 8 bottoms, gives you maximum productivity from larger tractors.

• A three piece mouldboard design reduces maintenance costs by letting you replace worn shins rather than the entire bottom.
• Strong mainframe to handle tough ploughing jobs – V-style mainframe is made of 6 x 4 in. welded tubular steel to handle the stress of tough ploughing and reversing action as well as tight turns.
• Integral in-furrow hitch for excellent manoeuvrability– Integral hitch gives unexcelled manoeuvrability in turns and when parking in tight areas. (Compatible with tractors equipped with Quik-Coupler.)
• Mouldboard frame pivots with the bottoms – The mouldboards are reversed laterally by a hydraulic cylinder that is standard equipment
• The 975/995 is available with plastic or steel bidirectional bottoms that cut evenly in both directions for a level plowing job.
• The plastic moldboard has good soil-shedding ability in sticky soils.
• Safety-trip standards available – The safety-trip protection system will allow ploughing in rocky or hard ground conditions without getting off the tractor seat.
• Rear gauge wheel standard equipment – Controls ploughing depth of the rear of the plough in rolling terrain
