Ease of use in all cropping situations
The 4830 Self-Propelled Sprayer is designed for commercial applicators and farmers who require higher application speeds, like a smooth ride, enjoy operator comfort, and prefer ease of use in all cropping situations. The booms can be ordered in 24.3 m (80-ft), 27.4 m (90-ft), or 30.4 m (100-ft) configurations to match existing sprayer fleets or fit cropping situations. BoomTrac Pro™ automated boom-height control can be ordered on all boom sizes to help reduce the stress of the operator and to help maintain a more consistent spray height.
The 3,785 litre (1,000-gal) solution tank can be ordered with the optional high-flow solution system for applying higher rates at faster spray speeds. The integrated GreenStar™ 2 display provides seamless integration of sprayer functions and Ag Management Solutions (AMS) for easier operation in the field. All of these productivity enhancements still include the reliability and ride of the previous-model John Deere sprayers, while meeting the needs of custom applicators and producers.
