John Deere Ag Management Solutions (AMS) offers a range of products that are designed to increase field efficiency, eliminate costly field overlap, and provide relief for operator fatigue.
Field Documentation
Field Doc™ allows you to record as-applied field data, such as crop planted, variety, rates, seed depth, time/date, and area covered. Adding on the Map Based Prescriptions option allows you to apply custom rates of seed and/or fertiliser to predefined portions of the field, utilising the optional variable rate drive system on the 1910 Cart and the three common Original GreenStar™ components, or the GreenStar™ 2 system.
All field data can be downloaded to Apex Farm Management Software to produce valuable field maps and reports. The system is also compatible with GreenStar™ guidance products such as Parallel Tracking™ and AutoTrac™.
Swath Control Pro™
Swath Control Pro™ is also available on John Deere Air Seeding equipment. Swath Control Pro™ is a program that keeps track of where the in-field operation has occurred and manages tank clutches on a 1910 air cart or half-width disconnect clutches on a 1990 CCS™. This ensures the seeding tool is metering product only in areas of the field the operation has not occurred, subject to settings you define within the Swath Control Pro™ software.
SeedStar™ 2 Monitor
The SeedStar™ 2 operating system puts more seeding functions at your fingertips with the GreenStar™ display. When a SeedStar™ 2 system is used on a seeder, there is no need for a Computer-Trak™ monitor. All vital seeding information is displayed in one central, easy to read location. When used with an air cart you can easily monitor and control cart functions from the tractor cab with a GreenStar™ 2 display also.
Conveniently, SeedStar™ 2 seeding functions are fully integrated with the full spectrum of precision ag tools to include guidance, coverage maps and field documentation.
The 1910 air cart is also compatible with advanced AMS systems such as Variable Rate Applications, Map Based Prescriptions, Documentation and Swath Control Pro™.
