John Deere seeding equipment is designed to provide you with better productivity and efficiency. By adding John Deere Precision Agricultural Solutions to your seeding equipment you can increase your efficiency even further.
Field Documentation
Field Doc™ allows you to record as-applied field data, such as crop planted, variety, rates, seed depth, time/date, and area covered. Adding on the Map Based Prescriptions option allows you to apply custom rates of seed and/or fertiliser to predefined portions of the field, utilising the optional variable rate drive system on the 1910 Cart and the three common Original GreenStar™ components, or the GreenStar™ 2 system.
All field data can be downloaded to Apex Farm Management Software to produce valuable field maps and reports. The system is also compatible with GreenStar™ guidance products such as Parallel Tracking™ and AutoTrac™.
SeedStar™ 2 Monitor
The SeedStar™ 2 monitor puts more seeding functions at your fingertips with the GreenStar™ display. When a SeedStar™ 2 system is used on a seeder, there is no need for a Computer-Trak™ monitor. All vital seeding information is displayed in one central, easy to read location. Conveniently, SeedStar™ 2 seeding functions are fully integrated with the full spectrum of precision ag tools to include guidance, coverage maps and field documentation.
Harvest Doc™
Harvest Documentation displays and records on-the-go yield information for combines. All data is collected on the data card, and can later be unloaded in the Apex Farm Management Software where it can be shown in the form of maps and reports. This data can also be used to write a prescription or variable rate application plan in Apex. These plans can then be put to use at the time of seeding. The prescription is enabled in the GreenStar™ 2 (GS2) display, which then commands the prescribed rates to the controller according to GPS location of each prescription zone.
