1910 Commodity Cart : Product Overview

The 1910 Commodity Cart is designed with the capacity and versatility required to provide the maximum productivity that customers want and need. It is compatible with a wide variety of John Deere and competitive seeding tools.

• Tanks are available in either tow-behind or tow-between configuration.
• Available in 6,903, 8,850, 9,558, 12,036, 12,390, and 15,222 Litre (195, 250, 270, 340, 350 and 430 bushel) sizes to match the customer's seeding tool needs 12036, 12390, and 15222 Litre (340, 350 and 430 bushel) sizes in tow-behind models only).
• All models carry two tanks, arranged in a 40:60 ratio.
• Optional third tank (available on 6,903 Litre (195 bushel) tow-between and all tow-behind models) increases capacity and the ability to more efficiently seed/fertilise.

Large platform and easy-to-access staircase provide easy access to tank lids.

• Front access to platform on tow-between carts with step-over access when going from side-to-side over the hitch.
• Tow-behind carts use a rear access to platform.

Large-diameter lids allow easy access to the inside of the tank and meters.

• Large diameter 67 cm (26.5-in.) lids allow easy access to the inside of the tanks and meters.
• A Ladder is provided inside the tanks for easy entry and exit.

Large-capacity tanks to increase productivity with fewer stops to refill.

• Polyethylene tanks with horizontal pivoting lids.
• The 1910 comes with two large-capacity tanks to increase productivity by reducing need to stop and refill.
• Tanks have two compartments to allow the operator to seed and fertilise at the same time if desired.
• Lid over each compartment is sealed to ensure proper air pressure within the tank and at the meters.
• Better utilises hydraulic fan drive.
• More efficient seeding and maintains seeding accuracy.
• Less than 2 psi of air pressure inside of the tank, equalising pressure between the meters and the tanks, for a more even seeding rate.

A large hydraulically driven fan produces strong air stream to carry material into the distribution system.

• Large, 44 cm (17-1/4-in). diameter fan, turning at 2000 to 5000 rpm, produces a strong air stream to carry material into the air distribution system.
• Fan is driven by tractor hydraulic system and runs continuously while seeding.

• Primary manifolds with 63 mm (2-1/2-in). diameter tubes distribute seed/fertiliser evenly to the secondary manifolds located on the seeding tool.
• Stationary single-shoot or stationary double-shoot primary manifolds are available.
• Stationary Single-Shoot:
• Stationary single-shoot primary air system is standard equipment.
• The primary manifold is bolted to the bottom of the meter cartridge assembly.
• Rate check is done without removing primary manifold.
• Stationary Double-Shoot:
• An optional stationary double-shoot air system, which includes a mixing chamber for each tank compartment, is available.
• Allows placing seed and fertiliser separately.
• Helps avoid burning seed when using high rates of fertiliser.

• Secondary manifolds with 25 mm (1-in). diameter lines evenly distribute the seed and/or fertiliser from the primary manifold(s) to the furrow openers.
• Air systems are colour-coded (optional) in order to more effectively hook up from the 1910 to the seeding tool.

• The left rear wheel of the cart drives the metering system, making this a ground-driven system. All drive lines are in-line and provide efficient transfer of power.
• All drives are on the left-hand side of the cart for operator convenience.
• Drive sprockets are determined by tyre size.
• Driven sprocket determined by row spacing.
• Infinitely variable gear boxes transfer power to the meter rollers.
• Rates are adjusted at the gear boxes with a convenient crank and knob adjustment.

A meter cartridge at each compartment effectively meters seed/fertiliser into the primary manifold, where air carries the material to the secondary distributor for delivery to the furrow openers on the seeding tool. Four types of meter cartridges are available to match seed types.

• Meters are contained in a cartridge for quick and easy removal.
• Meters are also colour-coded for quick and easy identification.
• A half-width disconnect is incorporated into the meter system.
• Manual seed flow cutoff.

• 177 mm (7-in). diameter with hydraulic drive - 195/250 bushel and 270/340 bushel models.
• 203 mm (8-in). diameter with hydraulic drive - 350/430 bushel.
• 12-in. conveyors provide fast, gentle product delivery to the cart.
• Hinged mounting allows quick and easy one-man positioning for either filling or emptying tank compartments.
• Top drive hydraulic motor.
• Mounted on top of conveyance, away from dirt and dust, for longer life.
• Hydraulic control valve is located at top 20 cm (8-in. only) and middle of conveyance for access either on the ground or on the platform.
• Rotary valve allows hydraulic oil flow control to drive motor.
• The large-size hopper makes filling or emptying tanks easy.
• Spill edge allows rotating and emptying excess material from conveyance.
