1895 Separate Fertiliser Placement (SFP) Air Drill : Product Overview

The 1895 is compatible with the 1910 Commodity Air Cart as a component of the complete Air Seeding System. It is also compatible with prior model 1900 Commodity Air Cart. This unit provides all the features that customers have been asking for: the ability to safely apply high rates of fertilizer separate from the seed, while applying starter fertiliser and seed together. The 1895 will also seed into reduced-tillage, minimum-tillage, and conventional-tillage conditions.

• Choice of 9.1, 10.9, 12.1, or 13.1 m (30-, 36-, 40- or 43-ft). working widths

• Seed openers are on 25 mm (10-in). row spacings; fertiliser openers are on 50 mm (20-in). row spacings.

Rugged, field-proven no-till drill openers offer excellent penetration in tough no-till conditions.

• Three ranks of flat, 45 cm (18-in). diameter blades with a 20-degree sharpened edge, single-disk openers are standard equipment.
• Seed openers are on 25 mm (10-in). spacing; fertiliser openers are on 50 mm (20-in). spacing.
• Hydraulically raised and lowered.
• Spring tension provides from 75 to 181 kg (165 to 400 lb). of down pressure per opener to penetrate hard soils and heavy residue. (Tractor suitcase weights may be required to obtain maximum down pressure per opener.)
• 50 mm (2-in). of vertical float has been designed into the opener for better ability to work in mellow soils. This gives each opener 50 mm (2-in). of independent float before mechanical down force is applied.
• Openers are mounted on a 7-degree angle to provide aggressive residue handling and furrow creation.
• A double row tapered bearing located at hub of disk opener is used for reduced maintenance.

The 1895 features a three-section drawn flexible frame with over-centre fold for transport. This three-rank toolbar frame provides for excellent residue flow and field performance, easier serviceability, and better visibility.

• Wings flex 20 degrees up and 10 degrees down.
• 108-degree over-centre fold.
• 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6-in). cross tubes; 5 x 15 cm (2 x 6-in). end tubes.
• 134 cm (52.8-in). between all ranks of openers.
• Floating hitch allows seeding tool to follow terrain over uneven seedbeds for more accurate seeding.
• Frame remains in static position; rockshaft rotates, lowering openers to the ground.

• Eight 11L-15 12 PR tyres are standard equipment on the centerframe and eight 11L-15 8 PR tyres are standard on each wing.
• High flotation knobby-type 31 x 13.5-15 tyres are optional.

• Weight bracket allows adding tractor suitcase weights for additional ballast required when operating in tough conditions.
• Useful when operating in hard soils and heavy residue.
• Provides increased down pressure.
• Can add up to 14 tractor suitcase weights at rear of centreframe.
• The 1895 Drill is compatible with Parallel Tracking and AutoTrac, which are Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
