The John Deere 400 Series windrowers are designed to meet the demands and productivity requirements of small-grain harvesters and hay growers with large operations and commercial haying operations.
With a John Deere PowerTech E™ engine and the new IntelliAxle™, a speed-sensing rear steering-assist system and completely redesigned independent rear suspension, the 400 Series machines deliver more control, better handling, and a smoother ride then their predecessors.
There are two new models to choose from: the A400 and R450 Self-Propelled Windrowers replace the 4895 and the 4995 Self-Propelled Windrowers respectively.
Offering top field speeds of 25 km/h and a top transport speed of 33 km/h, they’re moving at speeds that will help you increase your productivity all season long.
