The 630A 3-Metre Windrow Pick-up with mounting frame is available for self-propelled forage harvesters. Easily cleans up wide, faster-drying swaths without raking.

The 640A 4-Metre and 645S 5.5 Metre Windrow pick-ups with mounting frame are available for self-propelled forage harvesters. The wider width and standard lateral tilt easily clean up wide, faster-drying swaths with out raking.

• The pickup features a floating auger that will handle variations in the windrow density to allow the crop to enter the machine smoothly.
• The auger has retractable fingers for aggressive feeding into the SPFH. The open-end design of the pickup provides smooth feeding.
• The pickup reel has a cam on each end for added strength. An overrunning clutch protects the pickup reel and auger from damage when the harvesting unit is reversed.
• The clutch operates in an enclosed gear case and runs in oil for long life. A radial pin slip clutch protects the basic harvesting unit.
• The compressor sheet, provided as standard equipment, is used to improve the performance of the 3-metre pickup. It will increase the effectiveness of the small diameter pickup in holding the crop in front of the drum.
• Hydraulically operated from the cab, the standard compressor sheet can very easily be lowered into the working position and rest atop an adjustable down stop over the pickup.
• Automatic compressor sheet is also available. In situations where the feedrolls are stopped, either by activating the metal detector or slipping the clutch on feedrolls, the sheet will automatically raise.

• Pivoting frame allows for easier installation. (640A and 645A Models).
• Stronger mainframe with reinforced sidesheets.
• Two separate drive chains—one chain drives the reel and the other drives the auger for overload protection. The drive components on the pickup are located on the left-hand side for easy access and convenient maintenance.
• Interchangeable drive sprockets allow the pickup speed to be changed for heavy or light crop conditions.
• Compressor sheet downstop - the down stops will prevent the sheet from coming down too far when lowered. In its proper position, the sheet should be just above the windrow.
• Hi-flotation tyres (18.5-8.5, 8 PR) and gauge shoes are in base equipment.
