Engine
The 7760 is powered by a transverse-mounted 13.5 L turbocharged and air-to-air intercooled 6135H John Deere PowerTech Plus™ Engine. This engine provides 373 kW (500 hp) of performance; this in combination with the full-time 4WD, yields better performance and productivity in all field conditions. The engine is coupled to the hydrostatic system, hydraulics, and cotton fan, producing more power for systems throughout the machine. A fuel capacity of 1,135 litres ensures an operator spends more time in the field and less time refuelling.

Chassis
The 7760 walk-under mainframe design provides superior access to the power module for daily service and maintenance items. Rear tyre clearance for tight end-row turns is another benefit of the mainframe design.
Transmission
The 7760 is equipped with ProDrive™ Automatic-Shift Transmission. This transmission is designed with a hi-low automatic shift system, which allows the operator to shift on-the-go with the touch of a button for smooth transitions.
