ProDrive Ground Drive System
The new ProDrive Ground Drive System, now standard on the 9770 and 9870 STS Combines provides precise, more consistent control of your ground speed throughout the travel range of the hydro handle. ProDrive features two infinitely variable speed ranges that you can easily switch between with the push of a button. Using the CommandTouch™ armrest console, set the first range for typical harvesting speeds, and the second for transport.
ProDrive Ground Drive System delivers:
Provides up to 64% more ground drive torque when harvesting at 8 km/h.
Features an electro-hydraulic differential lock with a 4-pinion differential for greater traction in muddy harvesting conditions.
Integrates HarvestSmart™ feedrate control.
Three-Speed Transmission
All other STS combine models feature a variable-speed hydrostatic drive system and 3-speed transmission. An infinite speed range in each gear lets you match ground speed to the crop and conditions. The variable displacement pump is gear driven directly from the main engine gearcase, so there are no ground belts to worry about. Plus, the 3-speed transmission gives you a wide range of ground speeds for harvesting, as well as brisk transport speeds.

Three gear ratios to provide the speed ranges to meet all harvesting and transport needs.
Straight-line shifting means only one shift cable is required.
Pressurised lubrication extends transmission life and ensures proper lubrication.
O-ring sealed bearing carriers reduce the chance for oil leaks.
