The 328 kW 13.5L PowerTech Plus™ Engine powers the awesome productivity of the 9870 STS. The 9.0L PowerTech Plus™ Engine now delivers higher performance for the 9670 STS and 9770 STS. The PowerTech™ Plus engine features automatic fuel priming, fuel filter change indicator, water-in-fuel sensor and more. The 6.8L PowerTech™ Engine powers the 9570 STS.

Features like the vertical oil filter and gear-driven water pump make maintenance and service easy.. and infrequent. Wet sleeves and full-pressure lubrication keep all the internal components supplied with cooled, filtered oil.

All feature a Power Bulge to help overcome tough crop conditions, and a Power Boost for unloading operations.

• The large 757 litre fuel tank on the 9570 STS, 945 litre fuel tank on the 9670 STS & 9770 STS and 1,155 litre fuel tank on the 9870 STS, reduces fuel stops and increases productivity.

The engine deck styling incorporates air scoop advanced cooling technology on the 9570 STS, 9670 STS, 9770 STS, and 9870 STS Combines.

This innovative design provides continuous clean, fresh air to the engine and engine deck compartment. The air scoop is located high and is designed to draw air from above. The higher air is cleaner, containing less contaminating crop and dust debris.

The large scoop creates a natural chimney effect that pulls the cleaner air down through the rotary screen and through the radiator.

• Large, easy-to-open engine access door with ladder and landing, swings out to provide easy access to fuel tank, air scoop, rotary screen, oil coolers, radiator and engine deck.
• Service to the engine deck is easy because of the 457 mm added to the engine deck area compared to earlier versions of STS Combines.
