The GreenStar™ Combine Yield Monitoring System allows visibility of the yield and moisture variation on the GreenStar™ display and a home computer if John Deere's DataStore Technology is used. This system can be installed on any 00, 10, or 50 Series John Deere Combine.
The monitoring system utilises the GreenStar™ Display, mass flow sensor, and moisture sensor.
This system is a cost-effective way to determine the variance of yield and moisture within farms and fields. The monitoring system can also be upgraded to a yield mapping system at any time.
Utilise the DataStore Option
With the DataStore option, operators can capture combine totals by simply plugging the DataStore Program into the GreenStar™ display utilising the combine cab harness for 00, 10, 50 and 60 Series Combines. Once the information is captured in the DataStore program information can be easily downloaded into a personal computer.
By verifying which areas of the farm brought high yields and which didn't, users are able to begin treating fields differently to maximise inputs and overall yields. Or, conversely, reduce inputs to better match the yield potential of marginal ground.
