The ultimate test of a combine harvester's performance and dependability rests on the shoulders of the propulsion system and drives.
A variable-speed hydrostatic drive system and 3 speed transmission are standard on all 60 Series Combine Harvesters. An infinite speed range in each gear lets you match ground speed to the crop and conditions.
Heavy-duty, single-reduction final drives provide the load-carring capacity to handle large flotation tyres, 42 inch duals and large header equipment. There is no need to add costly planetaries.
The large STS Combine Harvesters also boast high-torque hydrostatic drives, plus heavy-duty transmission, brakes, and rear-wheel spindles.
A heavy-duty rear-axle spindle comes standard on all STS Combine Harvesters and offers tremendous load-carrying capacity.
