The double cut knife system provides faster, cleaner, smoother cutting action. A 10 cm (4 in.) knife stroke adds a more efficient cutting action which eliminates crop tearing.
Knife hold downs are easily adjustable to help maintain harvesting performance.
A unique self-tensioning system assures the belts are always properly tensioned and aligned for reliable performance and longer belt life.
Pivoting gauge wheels follow terrain through turns so there is no need to raise the platform. The unique air-suspension matches the float to field conditions.
A split belt option allows the John Deere Draper Platform to make a better windrow by smoothly laying crop along the right side of the right hand drive tyre. Crop is delivered to this location from both sides creating a more consistent and better integrated windrow.
