AgroGuide™

AgroGuide™ is a flexible, easy-to-use agronomy management system for improved crop planning, field history, spatial management, GIS precision analysis, formulation, blending, invoicing, and reporting. Setup features allow retailers and agronomy professionals to adapt the system to their business processes. Numerous user-defined fields for documentation enable users to record and track details specific to a business. An intuitive user interface and simple workflow make AgroGuide easy to understand.

Features of the AgroGuide system include:

  • Bookings: Accurately project future inventory status and more effectively manage risk.
  • Crop Plan Services: Create crop plans and recommendations, offer different options to growers via the financial analysis feature, and provide grower-customers with the information they need to determine the most profitable options and cost savings.
  • Customized Reporting: Modify forms and reports easily utilizing a third-party reporting tool for better business management.
  • Field History: Capture field history at the time of invoicing to track and maintain what has occurred on a field, down to the applicator, operation, application conditions, and equipment details. Easily transfer history from one client to another. Filter and report more accurately on field history to minimize growers’ risk by helping them make planting and application decisions based on what worked and didn’t work in the past. In addition, as record keeping continues to gain importance, accurate field history information becomes essential for regulatory compliance.
  • Formulation and Blending: Designed to provide flexibility for the retailer, Formulation and Blending functionality includes a blend release process with the ability to release a blend incrementally at the time of blending. Two-way information flow with Kahler, Junge, and Murray automated blenders allows for fast and efficient blending.
  • GIS Precision Analysis: Improve grower yields and lower input costs with integrated GIS precision analysis tools. Import existing GIS information from other systems and devices to expand your precision service capabilities. Transfer as-applied and harvest data from various controllers back into the AgroGuide system for complete field history and analysis. Seamlessly transfer precision ag work orders to the business system to improve accuracy and save time on invoicing. Perform calculations and multi-layer analysis with the IntelliCalc™ feature powered by MapShots.
  • Price Levels/Schedules: The ability to use different price levels and schedules at the time of blending gives retailers the flexibility to cater to customers.
  • Soil Test Results Importing: The ability to import soil test results electronically, supporting numerous lab formats, helps retailers save time by not having to handle this information manually.
  • Spatial Mapping: Print a map onto a field ticket, digitize field boundaries, and make notations on the field. This functionality helps agronomy professionals accurately capture field boundaries and create spatial maps to make sure the driver gets to the right field. The use of spatial maps also helps in maintaining regulatory records.
  • Splits: Set up and accurately assign split percentages in AgroGuide by chemical, fertilizer, seed, service, and lime product categories. Splits can be set up at the client, farm, field, or subfield levels.
  • Standard Reporting: A variety of standard reports and forms, which can be easily reprinted, are available.
